WCC Inmate Held on Behalf of Another Agency
Raymond, WA — May 9, 2025
A man currently held at the Washington Corrections Center was taken into custody Friday morning on a hold for another law enforcement agency.
Anthony L. Couch, 44, was arrested at approximately 10:45 a.m. by an officer with the Grays Harbor Sheriff's Office and transferred to Pacific County custody for detainment.
Couch is being held under a “Hold for Other Agency” designation (RCW MASC HOLD), pending further action by the originating jurisdiction. The case is under the authority of Pacific County Superior Court.

Long Beach Man Arrested for Second-Degree Burglary

A Long Beach man was arrested Friday night following an investigation into a burglary at a local recycling transfer site.
Matthew B. Danner, 44, was taken into custody at approximately 10:16 p.m. by a deputy with the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the Pacific County Jail.
Danner is charged with Burglary in the Second Degree (RCW 9A.52.030), a felony offense under the jurisdiction of Pacific County Superior Court.

Ilwaco Man Arrested for Trespassing and Property Damage

An Ilwaco man was arrested Tuesday morning following a report of trespassing and property damage at a location on First Avenue North.
Gregory H. Dunham, 60, was taken into custody at approximately 9:21 a.m. by an officer with the Long Beach Police Department and booked into the Pacific County Jail.
Dunham is facing charges of Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree (RCW 9A.52.080) and Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree (RCW 9A.48.090), both under the jurisdiction of Long Beach Municipal Court.

Long Beach Woman Arrested for Hit-and-Run and Negligent Driving

A Long Beach woman was arrested Friday evening following a vehicle incident involving a hit-and-run and unsafe driving behavior.
Skyla D. Ervin, 33, was taken into custody at approximately 6:36 p.m. by an officer with the Long Beach Police Department and booked into the Pacific County Jail.
Ervin is charged with Hit-and-Run (Attended) under RCW 46.52.020 and Negligent Driving in the First Degree under RCW 46.61.5249. Both charges are classified as misdemeanors under the jurisdiction of Long Beach Municipal Court.

South Bend Man Arrested on Outstanding Non-Traffic Warrant
South Bend, WA — May 2, 2025
A South Bend man was arrested Friday morning on an outstanding failure-to-comply warrant related to a non-traffic offense.
Edward J. Hoffman Jr., 61, was taken into custody at approximately 8:55 a.m. by an officer with the South Bend Police Department near US 101 and Memorial Drive.
Hoffman was wanted on a warrant issued by Raymond Municipal Court for failure to comply with court conditions in a non-traffic matter. He was booked into the Pacific County Jail without incident.

Menlo Woman Arrested on Drug Trafficking and Driving Charges
Menlo, WA — May 9, 2025
A Menlo woman was arrested early Friday morning on felony drug trafficking charges and a prior driving offense, following a multi-agency investigation.
Shantel M. Huff, 43, was taken into custody at approximately 3:47 a.m. by members of the Pacific County Drug Task Force. She was booked into the Pacific County Jail.
Huff faces a felony charge of Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver a Controlled Substance (RCW 69.50.401.1), to be handled in Pacific County Superior Court. She is also charged with Driving While License Suspended in the Third Degree (RCW 46.20.342.1C), a misdemeanor under South Bend Municipal Court jurisdiction, related to a prior incident from July 2022.
