Caller reported stolen items from his home. A UPS package and a folder with paperwork were missing. He noted that he had been gone for 30 days in February, and upon returning, found items rearranged. He suspects his roommate or another male who sometimes stays there.

Case 25-5910 – Disorderly Conduct
August 28, 2025 – 6:10 p.m.


Caller reported that as a renter, she was good until the first of the month, but the property owner sent people to remove her items. A female left in a newer dark gray Mustang, while others hid inside the shop. The caller said they were screaming and cursing. Two additional vehicles were also present.

Caller reported his daughter called him, stating her boyfriend screamed at her and attempted to strangle her. She fled the house and was about ten minutes away, but her phone may have been taken by the male suspect. The caller phoned from Portland.

Caller reported that his sister’s father attacked him. The man allegedly threatened to harm the caller’s younger sister. The caller threw something, which led to the suspect running at him and pulling his hair. The caller described the suspect as very abusive and bullying. He stated the suspect was somewhere in the house while he remained in his room. No ambulance was needed.

Case 25-5914 – Vandalism
August 28, 2025 – 7:30 p.m.


Caller reported that both of her vehicle windshields appeared to have been struck with a hammer. The 2003 Chevy Suburban and 2003 Acura TL sustained damage, with the Acura showing shards of glass inside and a hole in the windshield.

Deputy confirmed a vehicle plate as stolen and was out with it. WSP asked if assistance was needed, and Unit 5p2 advised they could respond if someone was in the area.

August 28, 2025 – 11:20 p.m.


Caller observed a gold SUV with a smashed front end and no license plate creeping slowly through a driveway. When confronted, the occupants claimed they had made a wrong turn and then sped off northbound on Sandridge Road.

A female was struck by a vehicle, which fled northbound. The victim was bleeding heavily, though the full extent of her injuries was unknown due to her condition.

August 29, 2025 – 8:15 a.m.


Caller reported a neighbor burning near her residence, producing heavy smoke. She was unsure if it was a burn pile or a pit but stated it created significant smoke in the area.

Deputy requested a case for court security.

Case 25-5921 – 911 Hangup
August 29, 2025 – 9:04 a.m.


A male voice was heard saying, “there’s dead bodies all over the house, this is weird,” before the line disconnected. On callback, the person reached stated they were just on their phone and mentioned teenagers partying. They advised there was no emergency.

Case 25-5922 – Civil Dispute

Caller reported that a neighbor’s chicken coop was built over the property line, close to his bedroom window. His primary complaint was a rooster crowing too early in the morning. Another individual staying on the property also complained about the issue.

Caller suspected someone was tampering with his mail. He believed relatives of a person connected to his workplace were responsible and requested a call from a deputy. The caller was not home at the time.

Caller was scheduled to meet someone at the South Sheriff’s Office to drop off paperwork but needed a phone call for an estimated arrival time as she had to leave.

Case 25-5925 – Illegal Burning
August 29, 2025 – 12:55 p.m.


Caller reported an illegal burn at the end of a street. Deputy Queener contacted the person responsible, who was burning a small amount of blackberry vines in a backyard pit. The fire posed no risk to people or property.

Case 25-5927 – Agency Assistance
August 29, 2025 – 1:51 p.m.


Caller reported that an individual recently appeared in town and, after doing some research, discovered the subject had been involved in a drive-by shooting in Ocean Park. Caller requested contact with a deputy and provided alternative contact numbers.

Case 25-5928 – Burglary
August 29, 2025 – 2:46 p.m.


Caller reported an intruder inside his shop who was throwing items around. The intruder was identified by name, though the caller was unsure if the individual had a weapon. The caller also expressed uncertainty about his own safety.

Case 25-5929 – Agency Assistance (WSP)
August 29, 2025 – 3:08 p.m.


Call was transferred to WSP regarding a disabled vehicle fully blocking the southbound lane in the Chinook Tunnel. The vehicle, a truck with a trailer, was hauling crates of seafood, and some crates fell off during the incident.

Caller reported that an individual, previously trespassed last year, was again on his property. The subject drove a white van through two signs before leaving toward Raymond. The caller advised deputies may need a hazmat suit due to the smell associated with the van and requested contact.

Case 25-5933 – Wanted Person
August 29, 2025 – 5:35 p.m.


Deputies were out in connection with a wanted person.

Case 25-5934 – Civil Dispute
August 29, 2025 – 7:25 p.m.


Caller requested a case number in connection with a civil dispute. Deputies reported the situation was code 4 (no further assistance needed).

Case 25-5935 – Citizen Assist
August 29, 2025 – 7:32 p.m.


Caller reported dropping off a bag of stuffed animals, dolls, and plates on August 28 around 6:00 p.m. The facility told him he couldn’t leave the items, but he left them anyway. He later expressed concern they might be contaminated with drugs, though he did not see any substances. The caller was available by phone for follow-up.

A concerned citizen reported a large bonfire on the beach off the Bay Avenue approach. State Patrol was advised, and the district received the call for follow-up.

August 29, 2025 – 9:01 p.m.


Caller reported receiving packages for a former resident who has not lived there for four months. The neighbor insisted she deliver the packages but the caller declined, advising the packages should be retrieved directly in Ocean Park. The caller no longer wants responsibility for them.
