Raymond, WA — May 9, 2025
A man currently held at the Washington Corrections Center was taken into custody Friday morning on a hold for another law enforcement agency.
Anthony L. Couch, 44, was arrested at approximately 10:45 a.m. by an officer with the Grays Harbor Sheriff's Office and transferred to Pacific County custody for detainment.
Couch is being held under a “Hold for Other Agency” designation (RCW MASC HOLD), pending further action by the originating jurisdiction. The case is under the authority of Pacific County Superior Court.

Edward J. Hoffman Jr., 61, was taken into custody at approximately 8:55 a.m. by an officer with the South Bend Police Department near US 101 and Memorial Drive.
Hoffman was wanted on a warrant issued by Raymond Municipal Court for failure to comply with court conditions in a non-traffic matter. He was booked into the Pacific County Jail without incident.

A Menlo woman was arrested early Friday morning on felony drug trafficking charges and a prior driving offense, following a multi-agency investigation.
Shantel M. Huff, 43, was taken into custody at approximately 3:47 a.m. by members of the Pacific County Drug Task Force. She was booked into the Pacific County Jail.
Huff faces a felony charge of Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver a Controlled Substance (RCW 69.50.401.1), to be handled in Pacific County Superior Court.
